Medical Technologist – Weekend Option

Full Time, Days (Friday/Saturday/Sunday 6 am-6 pm)

JOB SUMMARY:

Medical Technologists needed for Pike County Memorial Hospital located in Louisiana, MO. Perform types, antibody screens and crossmatches. Perform blood bank testing: types, antibody screens, crossmatches, and newborn DATs. Conduct hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and immunology testing (including pregnancy/mono tests). Perform transfusion reaction workups and maintain blood inventory. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation. Document critical values and results according to SOPs. Perform manual slide staining and microscopic analysis. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related degree (or foreign equivalent).
